|April 24th 2006| The promoters of Shidokan Germany are still struggeling to find a suiteable venue for FoF 4. Possible Title Match for FoF 4 "Rebirth!"
|February 23rd 2006| Shidokan Germany currently works on the fight-cards for all three FoF events this year. And the first event of the new series - FoF 4 "Rebirth!" - will open with a big bang! The promoters currently work on the main event of the show, which will be a title match in SHIDO MMA with German Top Team's most outstanding fighter: two-time UGC Champion Franco "Ortega" De Leonardis. The hottest contender for the counterpart of Ortega is the UK-based Sami "The Hun" Berik, who agreed to a title match against Ortega already last year. Sami is know for his outstaning striking skills which he demonstrated, when he beat the Cage Rage Lightweight Champion Abdul Mohammed last year. Also Sami is not picky about his opponents - he takes every fight against every opponent - in true Samurai manner. If the match-makers can realize this fight this would be a real worldclass match-up. Shidokan Germany is also in negotiations with fighters from Brazil, Switzerland, UK, France and Italy for the featured fights on the card. |
